Biography

Dr. Reedy began her nursing career in 1994 in the NICU and has worked in home health, Joint Commission accreditation, mother-baby, labor & deliver, public health, school health and academia to serve the healthcare needs of individuals, specific population groups and families. She has worked successfully within a multitude of healthcare settings leading community health change as a health promotions nurse manager focusing on prevention, immediate care needs, and resolution of chronic conditions. Her students enjoy her energy, enthusiasm, breadth of experience, caring and encouraging style. Dr. Reedy fosters a positive environment of learning which translates into successful outcomes for the class. Dr. Reedy’s motto is “I am going to do my job and you are going to do your job and together we are going to be amazing; failure is not an option here”. With this her coaching style to meet students where they are at challenges them to reach new levels of success along their academic journey.
