Biography

Dr. Anne Cadet spent her nursing career as a med/surg/Dialysis/OR nurse before entering nursing education in 2009. She received her ASN from Farmingdale State University in Farmingdale, NY and BSN from Jacksonville State University in Jacksonville, AL. She graduated with a Master of Science in Nursing Education from Chamberlain University and continued on and received her doctorate there as well. She collaborated on two peer reviewed articles on reducing reaction time during codes. She is currently working on a research project investigating the impact of faith on prognosis. Dr. Cadet likes to think that she is contributing to the nursing profession by educating the next generation of nurses. Teaching virtually at American Sentinel College of Nursing and Health Sciences of Post Universityl is an opportunity to embark on a gratifying journey with a diverse group of learners. As a former non-traditional student, she can relate to barriers adult learners can encounter. She plans to support, engage, encourage, and guide each learner. She embraces the opportunity to be helpful to the next generations of nurse leaders.
