Biography

Dr. Rhea Faye Felicilda Reynaldo completed her Bachelor of Science in Nursing, Master of Arts in Nursing (major in Medical-Surgical Nursing), and Doctor of Education (major in Educational Management) from Southwestern University, Cebu City, Philippines. She also graduated with a Master of Science in Education (major in Educational Technology) from Missouri State University, Springfield, MO. She has been in nursing education for 13 years of her nursing career, including holding teaching posts at Missouri State University and University of Hawaii. She was also previously a perioperative nurse, faith community nurse, and medical-surgical nurse. Her teaching interests include nursing pharmacology, pathophysiology, fundamentals of nursing, nursing research, nursing education, and medical-surgical nursing. She conducts research on teaching and learning issues in nursing education and immigrant and minority health. She also writes and edits the Nursing Pharmacology column for MEDSURG Nursing journal, the official journal of the Academy of Medical-Surgical Nurses.
