Biography
Dr. Wise is director of a health related accreditation commission. Prior to that, she oversaw one campus in a multi-campus private university in Sarasota, FL. She was also the Dean for nursing and health professions at Western Governors University and the University of Phoenix. Additionally, she was the Provost of Nursing and Allied Health at St. Petersburg College. Her primary health care background is in public health which provides her the education and experience to administer many health related education programs. Dr. Wise grew up near Toledo, Ohio. She received her Bachelor's degree in nursing from Bowling Green State University and her Master's degree in nursing from The Ohio State University--a tried and true Buckeye fan. Between Ohio and Colorado she worked on her doctoral degree in Health Education. She was the recipient of the outstanding faculty member from the University of Phoenix in 1993.
