Biography

Dr. Rhonda G. Chicone joined Notify Technology Corporation in 1997 and has served as Chief Technology Officer since 2010 and as Vice President of Engineering and Product Development since 2001. Prior to joining Notify Technology, Dr. Chicone held a variety of Software Engineering Management positions including President of Tech-Xpress Enterprises Inc. and Vice President of Software Development for Techware Designs, Inc. In early 2010, Dr. Chicone was recognized by the National Security Telecommunications and Information Systems Security Council as meeting the national training standard for CNSS 4011 Certification, NSTISSI No. 4011 Information Systems Security (INFOSEC) Professionals. Dr. Chicone was a contributing author to the book Cybercrime, Cyberterrorism, and Cyberwarefare: Crime, Terror, and War without Conventional Weapons, and also published her dissertation, An Exploration of Security Implementations for Mobile Wireless Software Applications within Organizations. In October 2011 she co-authored an article published in the Issues in Information Systems, a refereed publication. The article was titled An Analysis of an Enterprise Mobile Software Company – Managing Software Quality and Maintaining a Competitive Edge in Fluctuating Periods of Corporate Growth: A Case Study. Dr. Chicone holds a Ph.D in Business Administration with a concentration in Applied Computer Science from Northcentral University, a Master’s of Science in Technology from Kent State University, and a Bachelor of Science degree in Computer Science from Youngstown State University.
