Biography

Dr. McGivern is an organizational change management specialist with more than 30 years of experience in managing and consulting on organizational development and redesign, operations management and human resource issues. Dr. McGivern's focus is working with organizations to develop and implement strategies to measure the effectiveness of change and continuous processes by linking organizational capabilities with bottom-line business objectives. Dr. McGivern has worked as an executive consultant for a worldwide consulting firm, and has been a manager of organizational effectiveness, manager of manufacturing, plant manager, superintendent, manufacturing and quality engineer and human resource manager. He teaches and designs courses for master's and doctorate level programs in the areas of ethics, organizational development, leadership, technology and innovation, entrepreneurship, organizational behavior, operations management, coaching, quality management and dissertation research. Dr. McGivern presents at numerous conferences and has been published in a variety of professional journals including Management Decisions, American Management Association International, Journal of High-Performance Teams and Futurics.
