Biography

Dr.. Hrusovsky is the director of nursing at American Career College, overseeing the academic operations of schools of nursing in the Los Angeles and Ontario areas. She is also a review instructor for Kaplan, providing NCLEX review sessions for Registered Nurses and practical nurses taking the exam. Ms. Hrusovsky has held nursing education positions for more than two decades at Education Affiliates (as central regional dean of nursing and director of nursing at Fortis College), ATS Institute of Technology (as full-time faculty member), Kethley House at Benjamin Rose Institute (as director of education) and Menorah Park Center for the Aged (as clinical instructor and nursing assistant orientation coordinator). Outside the classroom, Ms. Hrusovsky has been a national speaker on the challenges of geriatric behavior for PESI Healthcare and has served as health committee chairwoman and adult education coordinator at Mayfield City Schools. She holds nursing licensures in California, Ohio, Tennessee and Virginia.
