Biography
Dr. Gracie has taught accelerated nursing students and traditional students online in BSN, MSN, and DNP programs. He is a certified informatics nurse and also with Epic Systems. Dr. Gracie served on the board of the American Nursing Informatics Association, as well as a member of the American Nursing Association and the Healthcare Information Management and Systems Society. His background is in pediatric cardiothoracic intensive care, administration, healthcare informatics and teaching. Dr. Gracie's doctoral dissertation focused on integrating nursing informatics competencies into an accelerated BSN program. He has presented and been published on topics such as effective healthcare workflows, informatics and improving EHR workflow.
