Biography
Ms. Knippa began her nursing career as a staff nurse in San Francisco, caring for medical-surgical patients and working in home health and primary care. From 1983 to 2003, she was a nursing instructor at Clatsop Community College in Astoria, Oregon, and served as its health occupations program director from 2003 to 2006. Ms. Knippa has teaching expertise in all nursing content areas, with an emphasis in pharmacology and leadership. She has taught in the classroom and clinical settings and has experience developing and implementing online classes.
