Biography

Dr.Copeland is an associate professor of nursing at Columbus State University. She has more than a decade of nursing education experience, and has taught as an adjunct at such colleges as Kaplan University, Baker College and Southern Union Community College. Dr. Copeland has worked in various hospital systems throughout Alabama and Georgia, and is currently a Certified Family Nurse Practitioner at Saint Francis Hospital in Columbus, Georgia. Her clinical background includes cardiovascular intensive care, coronary/cardiac and post-anesthesia care. Dr. Frander has published her research in Journal of Professional Nursing, Nurse Educator and Creative Nursing, among other journals, and has presented her work at professional nursing and education conferences around the country. Dr. Copeland is a member of Sigma Theta Tau, the National League of Nursing, the American Association of Colleges of Nursing and the Georgia Association of Nurse Educators.
