Biography
Dr. Chalflinch started her nursing career in 1987 and has since worked as a director of nursing in several nursing homes, a quality assurance nurse, a director of orthopedics and wound care and a senior practice director of a physician/inpatient practice. Since 2008, Dr. Chalflinch has been the senior director of rehabilitation for Carilion Roanoke Memorial Hospital in Virginia, where she spearheaded the reorganization of the rehabilitation program. She is a Board Certified Nurse Executive and a member of the American Nurse Association, the American Organization of Nurse Executives, the Virginia Organization of Nurse Executives and the Virginia Nurse Association.
