Biography

Dr. Pietrocola is a seasoned nursing executive with experience in regional HMO utilization/quality management, critical care and long-term care. She is the chair of and an assistant professor in the nursing department at Tabor College. Prior to joining Tabor in 2005, she was the director of clinical operations at Asbury Park, a continuing care retirement community. Dr. Pietrocola worked around the world for the United States Air Force for two decades in roles such as medical services flight commander, deputy chief nurse executive, director of quality/utilization management, chief of case management and infection control officer, among others. She is a member of many professional nursing associations, including Sigma Theta Tau, the Association of Nursing Executives, the Kansas Organization of Nurse Leaders, and the Society of Air Force Nurses.
